Attending our first Web Summit was a pivotal moment for Monet, marking the launch of our beta app and the beginning of an exciting journey. The anticipation was palpable as everyone waited to see what we were capable of, and we were determined to prove ourselves.
At the event, we showcased our innovative platform making 3D experiences within minutes. We aimed to revolutionize cultural preservation and digital experiences. Despite the challenges, including live rejections from investors, this was the best opportunity we got to stress test at a large scale.
This experience was more than just a product demo; it was a testament to our commitment to this lifestyle and our love for what we do. Each interaction, whether a success or a setback, fueled our determination to push forward.
We managed to secure 21 leads from the summit, validating the potential of our platform and opening doors to new opportunities. Every conversation, and every pitch, brought us closer to our vision, reinforcing our belief in our mission.
Making the Most of Your Web Summit Experience
First and foremost, go in with a clear mission. For us, it was about showcasing our innovative platform and proving our potential. Know your goals and let them guide your interactions.
Networking is everything. Engage with as many people as possible, from investors to fellow startups. Each conversation is a chance to learn, grow, and find new opportunities. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there, even if it means facing rejection.
Prepare your pitch, but also be ready to adapt. We learned that flexibility and genuine passion resonate more than rehearsed speeches. Show your authentic self and what drives your venture.
It's always about traction, traction, and more traction.
Lastly, soak in the experience. Attend masterclasses, participate in competitions, and take advantage of mentor hours. Each session is a learning opportunity that can provide invaluable insights and connections.

What we will change for Web Summit Qatar 2025
Looking ahead, we're excited to announce that Monet will be at the next Web Summit in Qatar in 2025. This upcoming event represents another chance to potentially connect with you!
Our time at Web Summit 2024 was nothing short of transformative. Here are some of the key strategies we will use to maximize our experience:

Clear Mission:
We found that the biggest missed opportunity was not preparing for client relations. This time we will enter the summit with a clear goal: to showcase our technology and drive more leads. You have to prepare a company profile, engage with leads outside/after the event and make a memorable mark.2.
Networking:
We engaged with as many attendees as possible, from investors to fellow startups, staff, researchers Each conversation was an opportunity to learn, grow, and find new opportunities. In fact, talking to tech researchers was the best source of feedback we got. 3.
Adaptability
: While we had a prepared pitch, we remained flexible, allowing our genuine passion and story to shine through. This approach resonated more than any rehearsed speech could.4.
Utilizing Resources
: We took full advantage of the masterclasses, competitions, and mentor hours. These sessions provided invaluable insights and connections that have continued to benefit us.5.
Resilience
: Facing live rejections from investors was tough, but it was also a learning experience that fueled our determination. You are always one "No" away from a "Yes". So don't stop, iterate fast, and move on.You can always be more prepared, and I can't wait to see you and hear your story at the next Web Summit!
